2014 IT Specialists Corner

Everyone is an expert on something. Dr. Dede says that building an effective distributed community involves members becoming topic-specific experts so that they can help others as necessary. This is the resource page where you can identify your expertise. Begin with the skills that you have now, but add to the list as you learn new skills and feel comfortable with your new knowledge.

What technology do you feel comfortable using?

Renee - Microsoft Office, variety of apps, social media, blogging, Google Apps, Web 2.0 Tools (especially related to vocabulary), and other various programs
Tamra - Microsoft Office - publisher, ActiveInspire (Promethean software), various apps, educational websites (Quia, Edmodo, Super Teacher Tools, Scratch, etc.), iPads in the classroom, some Google Apps
Britta- Microsoft Office, SmartBoard technology, social media, basic Mac/apple-related programs, Google Apps, and Prezis.
Mekca-Microsoft Office, SmartBoard, social media, Google Apps, Edmodo, Prezis, Camtasia, Snagit...I have been using an android based tablet at school and I have Mac products at home so I feel like I am constantly comparing the two :) I RECENTLY started using Edublog so please do not access my Blog Address...it is a disaster!
Bill - Mac OS, Google Apps for Education, iLife software, programming Python-Robotc, MS Office-especially Excel... all Mac products at home and school, but all have Windows 7 installed everywhere, as well.
Abby: Microsoft Office, SMARTBoard, ActiveInspire, YouTube, Google Drive, wikis, and social media
